Aerial skiing involves skiers performing various acrobatic moves in the air after elevating from a snow-packed ramp known as a kicker.
The aerials competition consists of qualification involving two jumps and then final phases involving three jumps. The top six competitors from qualification jump one advance directly to the final. The remaining competitors perform a second jump and the remaining top six scores from both qualification jumps one and jump two advance to the final.
Catch Laura, Danielle and Gabi from 10pm AEDT.
Earlier in the day Abi Harrigan will be looking to make the women’s free ski slopestyle final through qualifying from 1pm AEDT.
