We all enjoyed watching Tess Coady win Australia's first medal of the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games, on day 11 you can cheer on Tess in another final.
Across the day Australia has three athletes competing in three different sports.
Snowboard
Beijing 2022 bronze medallist Tess Coady will be lining up in the women’s snowboard big air final.
She comfortably qualified for the final yesterday in seventh position with 11 other competitors.
Each finalist will have three runs. The two best scoring runs for each athlete will be added together to create their final score. The highest scoring athletes will have a share in the medals.
Her competition for the finals features the Beijing 2022 women’s snowboard slopestyle gold medallist Zoi Sadowski-Synnott from New Zealand, who will be looking to take her second gold of the Games. Having qualified in first position she has shown she's the one to beat.
Watch Tess from 12:30pm AEDT on Channel 7 or 7plus.
Figure Skating
The women’s single skating short program gets underway and Kailani Craine will become the 41st Australian athlete to enter the competition at Beijing 2022, with only Sami Kennedy-Sim (Ski Cross) and Kiara Reddingius (Bobsleigh) still to compete.
Kailani returns in the green and gold for her second Olympic Games after finishing 17th at PyeongChang 2018.
She will be skating on the ice at the Capital Indoor Stadium, aiming to land in the top 25 to qualify for the free skate.
Watch Kailani live from 9pm AEDT on Channel 7 or 7plus.
Alpine Skiing
Greta Small will be in action at the Yanqing National Alpine Skiing Centre for the women’s downhill event.
The downhill course, which is the fastest and highest adrenaline-filled event of all the alpine skiing disciplines, has the reputation as being one of the fastest and most difficult in Olympic history.
Greta will be aiming to improve on finishing 20th in 2018 at Pyeongchang.
The field of 36 racers includes American star Mikaela Shiffrin, who will be looking for her first podium finish of the Games. Lara Gut-Behrami of Switzerland is searching for another medal after already winning a gold and bronze in Beijing so far.
Downhill features the longest and least winding alpine course, enabling the racers to reach speeds of up to 130km per hour. The course is marked by red flags, with each skier making a single run down the course and the fastest time determines the winner.
Watch Greta live from 2pm AEDT on Channel 7 or 7plus.
