After heavy snow falls on day nine forced the postponement of multiple events, athletes and organisers are set to see better weather conditions for day 10 of competition.

Seven Aussies are up to compete in three different sports.

Bobsleigh

After an encouraging performance in the monobob yesterday, Bree Walker will be back at the Yanqing National Sliding Centre for her final attempts at jumping up the leaderboard.

Having finished 7th overall on day one at the ‘Snow Dragon’, Bree put together two strong and consistent performances which reflected in her run times of 1:05.55 and 1:05.54 - for a total time of 2:11.09.

Today she will race in heat three and four, soon after which medals will be awarded to the athletes with the fastest overall times.

Watch Bree live from 12:30pm AEDT on Channel 7 and 7plus.

Freestyle Skiing

Aerials

After bad weather resulted in yesterday’s women’s aerials qualifying to be postponed, the event has been rescheduled for 6pm AEDT.

From there it will only be a short wait for the finals to begin, as they are set to get underway from 10pm AEDT.

Our talented jumpers will be led by current world champion Laura Peel, three-time Olympian Danielle Scott and young gun Gabi Ash.

Aerial skiing involves skiers performing various acrobatic moves in the air after elevating from a snow-packed ramp known as a kicker.

The aerials competition consists of qualifying which involves two jumps for each athlete. The six highest scoring competitors after one jump advance directly to the final. The remaining competitors perform a second jump and those athletes with the top six scores from either qualification jumps one or two advance to the final.

The 12 competitors in the final will all get a jump in final one and two. The top six competitors after final two (the athletes with the six best jumps from either final one or two) advance to final three, the medal deciding round. Scores do not carry over to final three and the ranking in final three is based on the score from each athlete’s final jump.

Catch the entire aerial skiing schedule live on Channel 7 or 7plus.

Freeski Slopestyle

The Zhangjiakou Genting Snow Park will host the women’s freeski slopestyle qualifying, with Abi Harrigan to be on the slopes.

This event was also meant to be held yesterday, but the poor weather conditions mean qualifying is set to take place from 1pm AEDT.

Abi will be one of 29 athletes in the competition with the top 12 athletes qualifying for the final.

The course is 600m long and has a 198m descent, three jump features and three jibbing features for athletes to combine big air and technical tricks.

Competitors get two runs in qualifying. Each athlete's score from their single best run is used to determine the top 12 that make the final.

Watch live on Channel 7 or 7plus.

Snowboard

The men’s and women's snowboard big air qualifying includes Tess Coady and Matt Cox.

Big air features athletes sliding down a large ramp and performing various gravity-defying tricks and twists. It made its Olympic at PyeongChang 2018.

Results for qualifying are determined by the best of three runs. With a field of 30 athletes, both Tess and Matt will have their work cut out for them as they must finish in the top 12 to qualify for the final.

Watch Tess live from 12:30pm AEDT and Matt live from 4:30pm AEDT. All on Channel 7 or 7plus.
