Jono Brauer and Brad Wall have both met the Australian Olympic Committee base level qualification for selection to the Torino 2006 team, but unless they can both ski to a top 60 per cent of field result in Kitzbuhel next weekend, only one will get a slalom place at the Games.

Brauer finished in 52nd place in the Wengen World Cup slalom over the weekend, with Wall eight spots further back in 60th place.

Both skiers have achieved two top 60 per cent of field results, and two top 80 per cent results, but under the AOC policy, both need three top 60 results for both to get a place.

Italian Giorgio Rocca won the Wengen event, his fifth victory from five starts this season. Kalle Palander of Finland was second and Alois Vogl of Germany third.
