Tonight, the nation is lighting up in green and gold ahead of Green and Gold Day.
On 1 August, on the eve of Green and Gold Day (2 August) both public and private buildings, famous landmarks, sporting grounds and local councils across the nation will light up in our national colours.
The initiative is to remind all Australians to wear Green & Gold to work, school or play on Friday to support our Aussies as they take to the field for super Saturday. The biggest day of sport for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
On 2 August schools, councils, and workplaces across the nation will be decked out in our national colours enjoying sports and celebrating the Australian Olympic Team.
