Born and raised in the NSW snowy mountains, Satara has skied for as long as she can remember. While the 15-year-old enjoyed cross-country skiing from a young age, it wasn't until she won an Interschools race that she decided to pursue the sport seriously.
At the 2023 Australian Junior Cross Country Championships Satara claimed gold in the WU16 freestyle time trial and silver in the WU16 classic time trial. When she is not training and competing on snow, Satara enjoys playing piano, travelling and spending time with her family.
