Arkie started skiing at the age of two. Inspired by her older sister Bridget to pursue the sport, Arkie joined the Thredbo Race Club and started her journey in ski racing at seven-years-old. A highlight of her career has been the opportunity to travel to the USA, free skiing and racing all over the country.
In 2021, Arkie unfortunately ruptured her ACL, a setback she considers her biggest challenge to date, but is now back on snow and feeling better than ever. At the 2023 FIS giant slalom event in Breckenridge, Arkie achieved a personal best result placing seventh.
