The sponsorship will take Nine through the Pacific Games Solomon Islands 2023, World Beach Games Bali 2023, Olympic Youth Winter Games 2024 in Gangwon (South Korea), Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Milano-Cortina Winter Games 2026 and the Dakar Olympic Youth Summer Games 2026 in Senegal.
AOC Chief Executive Officer Matt Carroll says Nine’s sponsorship will assist the AOC provide the best high-performance environment for our Olympic Team in Paris and beyond, as well as support the AOC’s important work in the community.
“This is wonderful news for us on Olympic Day. The deal encompasses Nine’s television and radio networks across Australia as well as video on demand and streaming services.
“Nine will be broadcasting the Paris Games after signing a broadcast deal with the International Olympic Committee (IOC). We are delighted to have Nine on board as a sponsor and we welcome their commitment to the AOC and our Australian Olympic Team.
“The AOC looks forward to a long and fruitful collaboration with Nine’s broadcast deal with the IOC taking them through to the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games."
