What songs get our Aussie winter stars pumped up

23 February 2018

FREESTYLE SKI & SNOWBOARD: With the grace of a dancer, the elevation of a gymnast and the ability to fly through the air like soundwaves, it’s no wonder that our winter athletes use a good playlist to keep motivated and on the move.

In freestyle skiing and snowboard events in particular, it’s quite common to see competitors at the start line with their earphones in, grooving along to the tunes they love.

Have you ever wondered what they are listening to before they drop in to the halfpipe or fly out of the start gate?

From classic Aussie rock to electronic pop, there is a wide variety of styles and artists that get the nod from our Winter Games athletes.
