Watch: President Bach's positive funding news for South East Queensland bid

6 May 2019

AOC: IOC President Thomas Bach has some good news for the South East Queensland Council of Mayors when he indicated an IOC contribution to the Games would mean any Queensland Olympic Games would be cost neutral.

Brisbane Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner welcomed Mr Bach to City Hall.

Councillor Schrinner was positive after their meeting that the IOC’s desire to keep costs down and make a contribution to the Organising Committee would make a potential South East Queensland bid feasible.
