RUGBY SEVENS: The Sydney 7s World Series is less than two weeks away and both Aussie teams are heading into the event not only as fan favourites, but as defending champions.

The Aussie women currently sit fourth on the overall World Series ladder and will face Spain, China and tricky opponent the USA in their home tournament pool stage in 10 days’ time.

So how are the team looking?

As for the Aussie men’s team, before they can turn their attention to the Sydney 7s, they must first face the Hamilton Sevens this weekend in New Zealand.

Australia will come up against Argentina, Wales and Rio Olympic Champions Fiji on Saturday January 26.
