BMX rider Tanya Bailey started cycling at the age of four in her home town of Karartha, WA. Bailey moved to Sydney to pursue her riding in 2006 and one year later relocated to northern California with her coach to compete in major UCI and super cross races. Bailey had been ranked as high as second in the world on UCI rankings and made her Olympic debut at the 2008 Beijing Games where she finished 16th.
