Shelly's Story

Shelley Liddelow was a reserve for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Team but was called into action when Fiona Johnson injured her hamstring in a practice match. Liddelow was the perfect replacement, scoring two goals in their opening game to secure victory against South Korea. The Hockeyroos went on to finish in fifth place. Liddelow also won a bronze medal at the 2001 Sydney Youth Olympic Festival.
