Mark's Story
Mark Bellofiore and C2 partner Lachlan Milne paired up in canoe slalom in 2002. Six months later they won silver at the 2003 National Championships and finished fourth in their first international event at the 2003 Penrith World Cup. The following year the pair outclassed the favourites in a long and high-pressured selection for the 2004 Olympic spot in the C2. Bellofiore and Milne qualified the Australian C2 for the Olympics when they placed sixth at the Spanish World Cup in 2004. After finishing 12th in Athens, the duo improved in Beijing and finished seventh.
