Lucy's Story

Sochi 2014 Olympian Lucy Glanville was Australia’s first female Olympic biathlon representative since 1998. The 19-year-old was the last female biathlete to qualify for the 2014 Olympic Winter Games, but improved on her ranking to finish 78th (15km Individual) and 82nd (7.5km Sprint).

Glanville was one of three athletes in Sochi who had previously competed at the Innsbruck 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games. Glanville actually competed in Cross Country in Innsbruck, placing 34th in the 5km Classic.
