Originally from Queensland, Kasey Wehrman was selected for Sydney 2000 from Perth Glory in the National Soccer League. He started in all three of Australia’s matches in the Olympic tournament, against Italy, Nigeria and Honduras. Wehrman was the first indigenous male footballer to play at the Olympic Games.
