Jodie's Story
Born in 1970, Jodie Rogers represented Australia in diving at the Atlanta 1996 Olympic Games. Rogers was 26 when she competed in the women’s 3-metre springboard, an event that demands control, courage and repeated precision under pressure.
Rogers finished 15th overall in Atlanta. While her Olympic appearance was limited to one Games, selection for Australia in an event of high technical difficulty marked her as one of the nation’s leading divers of that period. Her performance in Atlanta secured her place in Australia’s Olympic diving history.
