Jake's Story
Jake Andrewartha made his first Australian national team in 2004 at the Kindai Cup held in Japan before he took out his first Australian title in 2007 in the U/20 division. In 2009 he won his first major international event, the IJF World Cup event in Samoa, and then went on to win his first senior national title in 2010.
Andrewartha made his Olympic debut at the 2012 Games in London. He competed in the 100kg+ division, going down in the first round to Great Britain’s Christopher Sherrington.
