Glen Saville is a two-time Olympian having played for the Boomers in 2004 Athens and 2008 Beijing. Saville completed a two-year AIS scholarship and then was recruited into the NBL in 1995 by the Wollongong Hawks. Saville missed the 2006 World Championships and Commonwealth Games through injury but recovered to contest the 2008 Olympics. Saville was a stalwart player in the NBL Hawks lineup, playing just one season for another side – the Sydney Kings in 2007/08.
