Deonne's Story
Deonne Bridger is a dual Olympian, having competed at the 1996 Atlanta and 2004 Athens Olympic Games. Bridger started competing in archery in 1976 and was 28 when she made her Olympic debut in Atlanta, finishing 57th in the ranking round. Four years on, Bridger made it to the 1/32 eliminations, going down 150-145 to Kazakhstani athlete Viktoriya Beloslydtseva, placing 41st overall. She also competed in the women’s team event, finishing 11th. At the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, Bridger was the archery team section manager.
