1981 -

Brett Tamburrino won a silver medal for Australia in baseball in 2004. The switch hitter was a busy player in Athens, being used in a number of defensive positions. Aussie coach Jon Deeble was ejected after protesting a disputed outfield catch by the Cubans. Cuba won 6-2. The silver remains Australia’s only Olympic baseball medal.
