Anthony Martin made his Olympic debut at Beijing 2008 where the team placed eighth. He also competed at the Australian Youth Olympic Festival in 2003. After success in the junior ranks the Queenslander was awarded an AIS Scholarship in 2005 and spent seven months in Canberra. From 2007-2009 Martin was named on the National League All-Star Team.
